From The Muniment Room, a resource for social history, family history, and local history.
The Fleming Estate held a number of premises in Newport, including some thirty properties of the Newport Chantry. Long after the sale of the physical properties, the Estate continued to collect quitrents.
If you find a person's name that you are researching, the Trust would like to hear from you! A full entry gives details of the rented property and annual rent, and is available by emailed request. |
